Colin merged with us in 2017. He had his own dental practice "Gentle Dentistry" for nearly 30 years and is a great asset to the team with a wealth of experience. Colin has a special interest in endodontics and dental implant restorative work.

He is married with two lovely children and has a passion for rugby and motorbikes.

Asma joined Granville Dental Practice in 2015. Asma enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and takes time to put patients at ease and listen to their concerns. She aims to help patients achieve the highest level of oral health possible. Asma provides quick straight teeth which she thoroughly enjoys.

In her spare time Asma loves cooking and spending time with her 2 young girls.

Janki has always practiced in Leicester and has extensive experience in her field. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry in particular cosmetic dentistry. She has a caring, compasionate approach to her patients and enjoys keeping up to date with modern treatments and recent developments by attending courses and seminars regularly.

Shakeel graduated from University of Dundee in 1995. He has a special interest in Endodontics.

Soon after graduating from ‘bonnie’ Dundee University Shakeel was appointed as a part time Clinical assistant at the Restorative Department of Glenfield Hospital, Leicester in 1997. He still works there now but as a Specialty Doctor in Endodontics. He performs complex non-surgical Endodontics that has been referred in from General Dental Practitioners around the central Midlands area using an operating microscope. Shakeel has also worked for several years (from 2004 to 2008) at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, University of Sheffield, as a Part time Specialty Doctor in Endodontics.

Shakeel has a post graduate certificate in Restorative Dentistry (Tipton Course) from MANDEC, University of Manchester and a Certificate in Endodontics Master Class from LonDEC, Kings College London. He also has attained a post graduate diploma in Restorative Dental Practice from the prestigious and world-renowned University College London (UCL).

Shakeel enjoys performing general restorative dentistry but has a passion for Endodontics. He is meticulous and strives for perfection. He has a gentle and caring approach in treating his patients.

I graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2007. Since graduating I have been determined on developing my skills and delivering the highest standard of care. This journey started in 2008 when I was awarded the Diploma of Joint Dental Faculties form The Royal College of Surgeons London (MJDF). My focus has been on promoting and providing patients with the strongest foundations on oral health, thereafter building and rehabilitating patients smile and function. This is where my interest in Periodontology began, in 2009 I began a three year a Masters in Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology at The University of Sheffield, which I gained with Merit in 2012. After further training undertaken I was recognised by the General Dental Council as a Specialist in Periodontics.

Dentistry is a passion of mine and I have held a variety of positions around the Midlands both in General Practice and Hospital. General practice has allowed me to appreciate all facets and disciplines of dentistry which allow me to provide all aspects of care for my patients. I have worked as an Honorary Speciality Doctor at Glenfield Hospital in my hometown of Leicester. As well as a Clinical Teacher in Restorative Dentistry at The Charles Clifford Dental Hospital working in the Periodontology and Restorative Departments. Hospital positions have allowed me to treat complex cases as well as teach the next generation of dentists.

I offer my services in diagnosis and treatment planning with an interest in using extensive periodontal knowledge and skills to establish a healthy periodontal environment, which is conducive to maintaining the natural dentition.

My approach is centered on patient motivation and wherever possible non-surgical, however when appropriate he uses surgical periodontal therapy including surgical regeneration and mucogingival plastic surgery to achieve optimal results. All surgical treatment is carried out using magnification and microsurgical instruments.

One of the greatest things about Dentistry is it is an environment that constantly evolves and always room to grow learn and develop. I have completed a Diploma in Implantology at The University of Central Lancashire, this compliments the periodontal training already completed.

I am committed to my specialty and to continual professional development. I am a member of the British Society of Periodontology (BSP), European Federation of Periodontology (EFP), International Team for Implant Dentistry and am a member of Dentinal Tubules.

Aleena provides NHS and private dentistry.

She is passionate about giving patients a positive dental experience.

Aleena’s special interests lie in restorative, paediatric dentistry as well as cosmetic dentistry.

She is a certified facial aesthetic practitioner and a certified Invisalign provider which means she can correct your teeth alignment to obtain an aesthetic occlusion with clear Invisalign braces.

Aleena enjoys providing direct SmileFast make overs through composite veneer bonding.

She keeps up to date with developments in dentistry by regularly attending post graduate courses and conferences.

She will provide you with quality dental care and she has a caring friendly manner to help make your visit a pleasant one.

She is also interested in health and well-being and provides intravenous nutritional vitamin therapy when not practicing dentistry and enjoys travelling.

Diya had an interest in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics; Diya has a thirst for knowledge and plans to build on her skills by going on extra courses such as restorative and aesthetic dentistry

Diya has a calm nature which helps with managing dental anxiety, providing pain-free treatment for patients, she is also bilingual – fluency in Gujarati!
